Hi Elizabeth!
We didn't have an opportunity to meet, but I was in town a couple of weeks ago for a family party and had the pleasure of taking 2 amazing classes at Urban Bliss. I'm from Connecticut and as we were making our way South, I had my daughter Google "yoga in Charlotte". Up came 4 studios, 2 of which seemed rather far from where we were and 1 sounded like it was in a gym setting (not that there's anything wrong with that--just not what I was looking for!). I loved the name of your studio from the get-go, and was equally in love with your space, the energy and the talent of your teachers. I think Sam taught the Friday class I attended. She was amazing and totally challenged me in a very good way that is often hard for another yoga teacher to get. Amanda taught the Saturday class and I adored her nurturing spirit and the surprising twist of challenge she brought into her class. I was amazed that the musical choices were so similar to my own. And while the sequencing was uniquely creative and completely inspired, it all made sense to me as if I'd done it myself. I always immerse myself in any class I have the luxury to take, still I enjoy learning new ways of doing things (not that I could ever remember anything long enough to copy!)
So, from one yoga studio and passionate yogi to another (I'm pretty sure you're a passionate yogi too!) I wanted to compliment you on your beautiful creation and commend you on the talent of your teachers. I will definitely make a point to come to North Carolina more often now!
